Global from Day One (GD1)
Global from Day One (GD1) is a New Zealand and Taiwan based seed funding programme that invests in early stage New Zealand and Taiwanese concepts, ventures and science that have global potential.
Accessing early money is hard. GD1 invests seed money in early stage concepts and ventures that aren’t yet ready for mature angel or venture capital level investment.
GD1 is open to concepts, ventures and science from throughout New Zealand / Taiwan and encourages applications from research organisations, universities, incubators, private enterprise and individuals. Typical activities that GD1 funds includes proof of concept (PoC), in-depth market validation, rapid prototyping, intellectual property protection, and enticing first customers.
